Jolt Capital appoints new partner

Maxime Mallet spent a decade as equity research analyst at Natixis and Deutsche Bank in Paris and London. His deep knowledge in hardware and microelectronics led him, 2 years in a row, to the top 10 of best analysts in semiconductors in Europe (Extel rankings). During this period, Maxime also supported various companies for their IPO.

Since September 2020, Maxime Mallet was a director within the Large Cap team of Bpifrance, where he participated in a series of deals and M&A, most notably in the fields of industry and energy.

He will strengthen Jolt Capital’s team of growth partners and bring his financial vision of high technology companies, with a specific focus on the semiconductors sector.

“Jolt Capital has become the reference platform for deeptech growth equity funding in Europe. I’m really delighted to join them and bring my expertise to this unique team. Developing the future Europe-based global champions in deeptech is extremely motivating” says Maxime Mallet.

“The current context of reshoring industries in Europe and the shortage of electronic chips we are going through reinforce our interest for opportunities in the field of semiconductors. Maxime has demonstrated strong skills in this sector and we are very happy to welcome him in our team of partners to actively deploy Jolt Capital IV” comments Jean Schmitt, Managing Partner and President of Jolt Capital.

Maxime Mallet graduated from both ESIEE Paris (MSc Eng) and ESCP Europe (MSc Finance). He also studied robotics at the University of Salamanca (Spain).
