Oona Ortmans

Legal Counsel, Compliance & ESG

Oona joined Jolt Capital in October 2020 as Legal & Compliance Junior Analyst, and became our Legal Counsel, Compliance & ESG in March 2024.

After having achieved in July 2017 the Bachelor of Laws at the City University of London, she obtained in 2018 (with honors) a Master in Laws at the Duke University in North Carolina, with a subject matter focused on Business and Finance, Cross-Border Transactions & Arbitration. In February 2019 she was admitted to the New York Bar.

Prior to joining Jolt, Oona completed various internships in Switzerland (including Julius Baer Bank and Pictet), Luxembourg and the UK. Oona speaks four languages (French, English, Italian and German) and has been a professional skier and tennis player.
