The 4JET Group has a new home
The 4JET Group (Alsdorf) has a new home: the laser system manufacturer has opened a new state-of-the-art location on a 27,000 m² site in the Hoengen industrial park. At the same time, 4JET is leaving its previous three locations in the Aachen region and will combine all units under one roof.
Located in Otto-Lilienthal-Straße, over 4,000 m² of modern office and social space has been created as part of a comprehensive modernization project. In the adjacent logistics hall, around 2,000 m² of development and laboratory space was created with 15 application laboratories and a demonstration center. Around 7,000 m² have been prepared for final assembly and storage and offer space for extensive machine projects with an automatic spare parts warehouse and a crane for extra-large and particularly heavy machines.
The largest single investment in the company's history to date doubles the total space available at the previous locations for administration, development and production. It is supported by a financing round led by Europe´s leading deeptech growth investor Jolt Capital.
By the end of the year, the company will have relocated all activities from the previous locations in Alsdorf-Hoengen, Eschweiler and Aachen to the new site. A total of around 180 employees will then work at the new campus.
Founder and CEO Jörg Jetter: "We are taking a leap forward with the new location. Not only are we growing in terms of available space, but we also expect the improved infrastructure and shorter distances between departments to further improve employee satisfaction, speed up processes and increase productivity. And we believe in the future of our location in the heart of Europe."
