MICROOLED strengthens its executive team
MICROOLED, a global leader in the manufacturing of high-resolution, low-power OLED microdisplays, today announces the appointment of Thierry Bissuel, former VP & GM at Teledyne e2v, as Chief Executive Officer, and Faustine Gehin, former COO/CFO at Pharma IA, as Chief Financial Officer.
Since its founding in 2007, MICROOLED has established itself as a leader in OLED microdisplays, thanks to its unique expertise and the use of core technologies derived from the semiconductor industry. The company’s continued growth and the development of vertical strategies—such as the Engo/ActiveLook product line for the B2C sports market, and microdisplays for industrial and defense applications—have led to the adaptation and strengthening of its executive team, in order to mobilize the appropriate resources and funding for each segment.
Thierry Bissuel joined the company as Chief Executive Officer on April 22, 2025. He brings extensive experience in semiconductors, systems, and software across various international markets. Combining a strategic vision with hands-on team support, Thierry has held leadership roles in R&D, marketing, business development, and general management within international groups, SMEs, and startups during both entrepreneurial and transformational phases. Prior to joining MICROOLED, he spent nine years at Teledyne e2v, leading the high-reliability semiconductor division for space and defense.
Faustine Gehin joined the company on April 28, 2025, as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer. She brings extensive experience in corporate structuring and management, with a strong focus on tools, processes, and people. Most recently CFO of the Quinten Group, she has international experience in executing complex projects and driving growth through M&A strategies.
Building on the tremendous work accomplished throughout the MICROOLED journey, Éric Marcellin Dibon will now focus—alongside a dedicated team—on the highly promising Engo/ActiveLook venture, targeting various consumer and outdoor markets. This next phase will involve establishing a dedicated organization and securing financial partners suited to the demands of these markets.

About Thierry Bissuel
Thierry Bissuel brings a diverse and highly international background in the semiconductor industry. He began his career in the space sector (ESA, Alcatel Space) before managing business units (ASICs and audio) for National Semiconductor in Munich. In the early 2000s, he was based in Geneva with STMicroelectronics, where he led a line of multimedia microprocessors for automotive and industrial markets. From 2005 to 2016, Thierry served as COO of Cabrilog, a Grenoble-based startup specializing in mathematical software. He joined the Teledyne e2v group in 2016, first as VP & GM for data and signal processing solutions, and more recently as VP & GM of their Semiconductor Business Unit. Thierry holds a master’s degree in microelectronics from INSA Toulouse and a management degree from IAE Lyon.
About Faustine Gehin
Faustine Gehin began her career as a financial analyst at BNP Paribas CIB before taking on roles coordinating large projects in the cement industry in China. She then founded and managed a boutique mergers and acquisitions consulting firm before joining Carmine Capital for three years, where she was involved in similar activities. Between 2019 and 2022, at Quinten, Faustine held various positions, including Senior Manager, Director of Strategic Projects, and ultimately Group CFO, where she developed her expertise in artificial intelligence applications. Her most recent position was COO/CFO at PharmIA. Faustine is an engineer from Centrale Lyon and also holds a master’s degree in management from EM Lyon.
