BOYDSense

BOYDSense is developing non-invasive and affordable tools for measuring critical biomarkers via exhaled breath. Breath-based metabolomics focuses on volatile organic compound (VOC) biomarker patterns in human breath.

BOYDSense’s first product under development, the Lassie breath analyser (g-Sense Breath Meter), is an affordable handheld device that will allow consumers to frequently measure blood glucose concentrations without worry of cost, pain, or social stigma. Frequent measurements will allow users to identify glucose trends and avoid hypo/hyperglycemic spikes.

Beyond diabetes, the BOYDSense platform will allow consumers and healthcare providers to use breath as a medium to detect and monitor other diseases such as cancer, obesity, asthma and more in a truly non-invasive and affordable manner.
