Currently serving on the boards of Aptar (NYSE:ATR), Imagine Institute and Inria Foundation, Isabel Marey-Semper spent over 20 years in the private sector, as top executive and member of the Executive Committee of several large French companies (Saint-Gobain, Group PSA Peugeot Citroen and L’Oreal). She also served on the board of directors of Nokia between 2009 and 2013. In 2019, the French government asked Isabel Marey-Semper to co-chair the Collaborative Research and Innovation high-level group to prepare the Draft Research Bill, and to chair the entrance jury for French National School of Administration in 2019-2020.
Isabel’s wide and recognized core expertise includes finance, strategy, R&D, innovation, industry and the management of large transformation projects.

Isabel Marey-Semper is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris. She holds a PhD in neuro-pharmacology from Pierre-et-Marie Curie University and an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs. Isabel is an auditor of the Institute of Advanced Studies in National Defence (73rd session).
