More deeptech atlases by Jolt.Ninja

As global challenges mount, the race to innovate new solutions to longstanding problems is similarly accelerating. Underpinning this technological shift will be a raft of pioneering deeptech companies that have engineered novel methods and solutions to design invaluable new drugs, help mitigate climate change, produce and store cleaner energy, feed an ever growing population, and provide digital security.

Since 2011, Jolt Capital has built its investment strategy around European deeptech players, supporting their global scaling. Tilted towards later-stage companies where impact can be more immediate, Jolt Capital has tirelessly promoted this thesis and the value of deeptech companies to Europe’s future. Our current portfolio of deeptech companies is diversified across both hardware and software-driven companies, that are delivering sustainable solutions to pressing needs.

The collection of atlases, designed using our AI platform Jolt.Ninja, present overviews of various deeptech landscapes, detailing their geographic distribution, number of patents filed, and number of employees, split across a series of sub-categories, including artificial intelligence, semiconductors, aerospace, cybersecurity, energy, materials, optoelectronics, robotics, sensors, or agtech.

Some of the atlases give an overview of a country (Poland, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland…) or map a specific domain in a particular country (Trade in Greece, Shipping in Denmark, …). Some of them analyze a set of technologies or a limited range of applications (Drones, Agtech, SpaceTech, …). We are also working on bespoke cohorts for public authorities and large research organizations, to study the performance of spin-off programs.
